There is something for everyone at McKenzie Elementary School. Third and fourth graders can audition for "Rebels Singers". Any third or fourth grader can be in K-Kids. Below are activities and events currently underway.
KIWANIS K-KIDS
Provides children in third and fourth grade with an opportunity to give service to their community and develop pride in their ability to contribute.
Purpose: to improve the quality of life for children and families.
Service Projects: Canned food drive for United Neighbors, personal hygiene products to the Department of Children’s Services, collection of aluminum can tab tops for Ronald McDonald House, and a Teacher Appreciation Breakfast .

Kiwanis K-Kids efforts for collection of food items for the Holiday Community Service project, returns a success.
Approximately 1300 food items were collected by the McKenzie Elementary School students and donated to the United Neighbors for distribution to families in Carroll County this holiday season. The classroom that collected the most food items was Ms. Courtney Kee. The Kiwanis K-Kids will be conducting an aluminum can tab top drive in the spring for families to stay at the Ronald McDonald House during a family illness. The tab tops may be given to any elementary student for the collection.

KIWANIS BUILDERS CLUB
Provides young people the opportunity to help others, serve their school and community, and build a positive future for them.
Purpose: to improve the quality of life for children and families.
Service Projects: Middle School dance for Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center of Carroll County, Bandanas for Hope to aid Hurricane Katrina survivors, and Love offering for the Kiwanis International IDD fund.
KIWANIS KEY CLUB
A service club for high school students with its focus on children.
Purpose: to improve the quality of life for children and families.
Service Projects: Trick or Treat for UNICEF, Angel Tree Gift Giving, books for Head Start, and March of Dimes
