Winter is here and inclement weather may occur. As early as 6:00 a.m., you may find out about school closings by visiting the Carroll County Schools web site at www.carrollschools.com. Click on "Weather Related Closings". Our more traditional methods are still available. The Radio and TV stations, below, will be notifiied.
All public schools in the county follow the same dismissal for inclement weather. If Carroll County is not announced as dismissed, you may assume that schools are open. (We usually do not notify radio or television if schools are open as scheduled.)
Radio and television notification takes time and occupies the phone lines; therefore, calling school officials is not advisable. You may check the web, listen tot he radio or watch television to find out about dismissals.
